The Struggle & Family

Joseph Chalulot Ronoh was born with a physical disability and for many years the family relied on the kindness of neighbours. With Grace Rono by his side they raised seven children — Mercy Maina, Milcah Langat, Scola Langat, Sharon Koech, Faith Chirchir, Irvine Cherono and Nicholas Sigei — while facing daily challenges.

Joseph and family

When Bishop William Tuimising learned of Joseph’s situation, he activated the Care and Social Support pillar of the Finishing Well Foundation — mobilising partners, friends and local volunteers to respond practically.

“God’s hand was visible in every step of this work. Seeing Joseph in his new wheelchair filled us with gratitude.” — Bishop William Tuimising
