In 1946, in Bomet County, a young William Kiplagat Tuimising was born.

In 1964, at the age of 18, Tuimising was ordained into ministry.
That step marked the beginning of a lifetime of service that would eventually see him become one of the pioneers and influential leaders within Kenya's Pentecostal church movement.
His journey was not simply about holding a title.
It was about serving people.
It was about planting churches, developing leaders, teaching God's Word and standing with communities through difficult seasons.
Over the years, his ministry was associated with the establishment and growth of hundreds of churches and the mentoring of generations of Christian leaders.

From a Calling to a Legacy

One example was his commissioning of Pastor J.B. Masinde in 1984 to pioneer ministry in Nairobi's Eastlands. What began as outreach and open-air meetings eventually developed into Deliverance Church Umoja.
That is the beauty of leadership.
A leader's success is not only what he accomplishes personally.
It is also what he helps others become.
More Than Six Decades Later
More than six decades after answering the call, Bishop Tuimising continues to speak about faith, service, leadership and finishing well.
His later years have not marked the end of his desire to serve.
From mentoring leaders to supporting widows, teaching through Weekly Impartations and even taking part in the 480-kilometre Nairobi-Mombasa Walk for Fitness in 2025, his life continues to demonstrate a simple principle:
Purpose does not retire simply because the years increase.
