For more than six decades, Bishop Dr. William Kiplagat Tuimising has devoted his life to Christian ministry, leadership and service.
His story is closely connected to the development of Deliverance Church in Kenya and the wider Pentecostal movement.
A Ministry Measured in Lives
Bishop Tuimising served as General Overseer of Deliverance Church International until 2000, during a period of significant growth within the denomination.
His ministry has extended far beyond the pulpit.
The Star has reported that Bishop Tuimising founded more than 300 churches and was involved in the rehabilitation of more than 500 street children.
Behind these numbers are communities reached, leaders raised and lives given another opportunity.
Building Beyond the Pulpit
Bishop Tuimising's leadership has included church planting, mentorship, community development and practical support for vulnerable people.
One documented example is his involvement in the growth of Deliverance Church Umoja, which began through outreach in Nairobi's Eastlands after he commissioned Pastor J.B. Masinde to pioneer the work.
His influence has also extended to other parts of Kenya, including Kisumu, where Deliverance Church International Living Streams Centre records his role in officially launching the church in 1996.
