⛪ Bishop’s Ministry Journey

Bishop William Kiplagat Tuimising’s ministry journey is deeply intertwined with the growth and expansion of Deliverance Church International (DCI). He was among the pioneering leaders who joined Apostle Dr. Joe Kayo in the early 1970s, contributing significantly to the establishment of the church. In 1984, recognizing the potential in Pastor J.B. Masinde, Bishop Tuimising commissioned him to plant a new congregation in Eastlands, leading to the birth of Deliverance Church Umoja. Under his leadership, the church expanded from a modest gathering to a vibrant congregation, with over 9,000 members today. Bishop Tuimising’s apostolic vision facilitated the planting of numerous churches across Kenya and beyond, including in Zambia and Tanzania. His tenure as the General Overseer of DCI, which he held until 2000, was marked by significant growth, with the number of congregations increasing from 594 to over 1,200. His leadership continues to influence the denomination, emphasizing church planting, community outreach, and holistic development. His legacy is a testament to his unwavering commitment to spreading the gospel and nurturing spiritual growth within the church community.
